While leading a young adult ‘s group at my church, (St. Agatha Catholic Church in Miami), I came across a company that produced small biblical message cards with Bible verses. I began purchasing them weekly, handing out a different card to each person in the group. Time and time again, the cards seemed to speak directly to the heart of whoever received them—almost as if God Himself had chosen it for them.

After a couple of years, I found myself wishing for cards that featured the Scriptures I personally felt called to share. That desire led me to design and create the first set of Believe Cards. To keep costs low, I invested in a large quantity—over 120,000 cards. Nevertless, the business became difficult to manage on my own. Though I was receiving orders, I struggled to keep up while balancing other responsibilities. What had started as a passion project became too much to sustain at the time as I didn’t just lead the young adult’s group but was a Special education teacher at a public high school near by. At the time.

About a year ago I still had many cards on hand. I donated them to a group from St. Agatha that prepares meals for the homeless in downtown Miami—about 500 meals every week. For the past year, they’ve included a Believe Card in every meal bag. On July 18, 2025, someone from the group shared that when I first created Believe Cards, I had no idea what God’s plan were and how He would use them—especially to reach those in greatest need.Now, more than ever, I feel ready to relaunch this mission. Because truthfully, I never know whose hands—and heart—a Believe Card may reach.
